Outdoor burning is allowed November through June, prohibited July through October. See the Crook County Outdoor Burning Regulations for details.

It is against the law to conduct any burning that:
-Unreasonably interferes with the enjoyment of life or property.
-Creates a public or private nuisance.
-Is a hazard to public safety.
Materials Prohibited from Burning:
Rubber products (including tires), Plastics, Garbage, Petroleum and petroleum-treated materials, Asphalt, Industrial wastes, Dead animals, Diapers.
