Education

Crook County Fire & Rescue provides a multitude of prevention related functions that are vital to the community. We participate in school tours, mentor programs, career days, as well as providing juvenile fire setter interventions for children. We promote the Fire Free program in the wild land urban interface areas. This program helps homeowners identify steps they can take to help reduce the risk of wildfire damage to their home.

We also provide annual business inspections to the local business's of Crook County. The Fire District also examines new construction plans for compliance with the Oregon Uniform Fire Code.
